Church wholesale halloween costumes Sale
Jacob BarkerVictory wholesale halloween costumes Christian Church is putting its building up for sale and heading northeast.
Since 1998, the church Halloween Costumes Outlet has been at Portland Street and Lansing Avenue in the Keene Street medical corridor area, said Victory’s pastor, Mark Putnam. Last month, it closed on the purchase of 13 acres of land on Ballenger Lane south of Rice Road and put its existing building at 212 Portland up for sale.
“We’re kind of landlocked to grow a whole lot,” Putnam said. “We just needed more space.”
The Ballenger Lane land, which Midway USA owners Larry jdfhggfhk and Brenda Potterfield have owned since they made a land-swap deal with Columbia Public Schools in 2009, is a good deal larger. But the 3 acres on Portland could prove attractive for a medical office. It sits just south of the University of Missouri’s Women and Children’s Hospital and is surrounded by other medical offices. That’s what the appraisers tell Putnam is its “highest and best use.”
“It’s a pretty good spot over here,” he said.
The church purchased the 13 acres of land for $250,000. There’s no specific timeline for building the new church, Putnam said. Much of it will depend on when the Portland land and building are sold.
